Expansion Allows Clinical Research Company to Provide Quality Medical Attention to Underserved
HOUSTON – Clinical Trial Network (CTN), a clinical research company located in Southwest Houston, has acquired the building at 7080 Southwest Freeway and will transform the space into a state-of-the-art, Multi-Specialty Clinical Research (MSCR) facility.
Formerly occupied by Little Saigon Radio, the renovated 20,000 sq. ft. building is set to open in January 2013 and will allow CTN to provide quality medical attention and opportunities to participate in clinical trials to the surrounding underserved community.
A sleep center for clinical research participants requiring overnight observation will also be available.
“This new facility will allow us to expand our capabilities so that we are able to provide high quality medical care that everyone deserves,” Dr. Nawab Baloch, the owner and Site Director of Clinical Trial Network said.
CTN will also expand its capabilities to add an in-house family practice clinic, an on-site pharmacy, and eventually dental care, eye care and urgent care capabilities.
Additionally, Clinical Trial Network (CTN) will provide free monthly education seminars regarding topics such as health and wellness, nutrition, and diabetes-related topics, such as potential complications caused by diabetes, to all patients.
The American Diabetes Association (ADA) has lent their support to this new project and will have an office space within the new building to hold seminars for patients diagnosed with diabetes.
“We are looking forward to assisting CTN by providing community education,” Carole Lieber with the American Diabetes Association said.
Other local organizations and specialty care associations are expected to be added in the next few months leading up to the grand opening.
